Pamela Martin and Evan Hydzik married in 2008. Pamela spent her adult life as an instructor and editor, and Evan is a musician, sound engineer, and gardener who worked and taught at Chicago Botanic Garden. 

 

Pamela and Evan established Long World Services in 2018 after putting three family members’ homes to rest. 

 

The majority of homes they empty are in Chicago, Chicago suburbs, and Southeast Wisconsin, but they happily travel anywhere. 

 

In addition to owning and operating Long World Services, Pamela and Evan have two dogs and a microhomestead, where they maintain fruit trees and 2500 square feet of vegetable plots.
